The new law on whistleblower protection: What does it mean for Polish law? 📜🔍

On March 6, 2024, a new draft law on the protection of whistleblowers was published on the website of the Government Legislation Center, which received a new name: the draft law on whistleblower protection. 📜 It ensures the implementation of the measures required by Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 23, 2019, for the protection of, among others, persons reporting violations of the law. 🛡🔍 Changes were made, including Article 3, which contains a catalog of violations of the law (actions or omissions contrary to law or aimed at circumventing the law) in new areas. 🔄
