Last weekend I had the honour of conducting classes on the Carbon Trace for a group of about 100 students of postgraduate studies at the SGGW, organized thanks to the invitation of Marcin Wysztinski. The meeting was not only educational but also inspiring!
The meeting focused mainly on understanding and analysing the impact of economic activity on CO2 emissions and the potential to reduce the carbon footprint. During the class, I discussed various aspects related to the carbon footprint, including the importance of measuring and monitoring CO2 emissions, the identification of the main sources of emissions in different sectors of the economy and strategies for reducing the carbon footprint. In practical examples, we also calculated the carbon footprint.
But that's not all! 🌟 During the entire meeting, we had an interactive discussion in which students had the opportunity to exchange views and ask questions about the Carbon Trace. I thank Marcin Wyszawski for inviting and involving the participants in this important discussion. I hope that the knowledge gained will help them to better understand and make informed decisions about reducing the carbon footprint in their organisations.
And this is only the beginning! 💡 They were so interested in the subject that still at the meeting a decision was made to organize another meeting that will explore the secrets of the Carbon Trace. I look forward to continuing this inspiring journey in a world of sustainable future!
