November 2023 🍂📆 first banking institutions approved 🌐 access agreements to information collected on the BIK ESG Platform.
Since the launch of the project in September 2023, 17 financial sector organisations have been involved in the development of the platform.
Now banks can use a database separated from publicly available reports for the year 2022, covering more than 165 entities covered by the qualitative analysis.
The platform is intended to support financial institutions in meeting sustainability reporting requirements by providing the data necessary for the calculation of Green Asset Ratio (GAR). 📈🌿
Around Platform shape 🌍 a community of banks that are both beneficiaries and market participants with a market-based reporting standard for indicators in the field of sustainable finance.
In subsequent stages of the development of ESG BIK will also serve companies, improving the process of applying for funding by harmonising the archiving of ESG data.
This eliminates the need to supplement information repeatedly in different banks according to different standards. Educational activities for companies concerning the interpretation of criteria and data collection are also planned. Additionally, the Platform will be developed with ESG analytical tools. 🌐💼
