🌍On July 11, we celebrate World People's Day, a festival established by the United Nations in 1989. This day commemorates the moment when in 1987 the Earth's population reached five billion. Today, the population on our planet is already over seven billion, which highlights the dynamic development of the global community. Each second brings into the world five newborns, while two people leave, which shows a continuous life cycle.
🌠This holiday highlights the challenges of growing population, such as excessive consumption, declining resources, public health and combating poverty.
