Carbon footprint training is a one-day closed online course conducted by a certified ESG specialist.

Training introduces participants to issues related to greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) and their impact on business activities and entire value chains. Participants will learn the definition of carbon footprint, key standards and regulations governing its calculation, as well as the principles of organisational and operational boundaries. The course includes a practical approach to carbon inventory and an analysis of all three emission ranges – from direct (Scope 1) to energy related emissions (Scope 2) to value chain emissions (Scope 3), covering 15 categories. Participants will also learn to use input data and emission factors and learn how to calculate the carbon footprint.

Training details

The training will take place online (platform to be agreed) and will last 8 teaching hours (i.e. 6 clock hours) with the required breaks. Those taking part in the training must have internet access and a device serving the selected online meeting platform.

After buying a product, you will be contacted to choose the training period. The training period is selected from the 3 proposed dates. Once the decision has been taken, the deadline can be postponed once, but reporting the desire to change to a minimum of 24 hours before, as the host takes time to prepare for each dedicated training, learning about your organisations from publicly available sources.

Training covers up to 10 participants.
