The European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) announced the finalisation of three key implementing documents for European Sustainable Development Reporting Standards (ESRS). These are:

EFRAG IG 1: Guidelines on materiality assessment

EFRAG IG 2: Value Chain Guidelines

EFRAG IG 3: ESPS details

These documents represent an invaluable source of knowledge for companies implementing the ESRB. They shall offer practical guidance, tools and mechanisms to facilitate compliance with the ESRS requirements, taking into account the specific circumstances of each company. IG 1 explains the ESRS approach to relevance and illustrates the process of assessing relevance, including examples and visualizations. IG 2 discusses value chain requirements, including reporting limits for the capital group. On the other hand, the IG 3 contains a complete list of specific ESRS requirements in Excel format, facilitating the analysis of data gaps.
