Due to errors generated by the CBAM Transition Registry and differences with the operation of the registry, the National Center informs that it will be possible to submit the CBAM report for Q4 2023 also after the deadline of January 31, 2024. 🚨

The EC said that as of February 1, a feature will be made available in the Transition Registry: a "request paid subscription" function, which gives an additional 30 days to submit the CBAM report. 🗓️

Accepting to information provided to us by the EC, such an option should be available by clicking on the "my quarterly reports" title in the register, next to the relevant reporting quarterback.

No sanction will be impposed on reporters subject to the reporting requirement in the event that problems with the malfunctioning of the CBAM interim register and the errors it generates have results in the inability to submit a complete CBAM report by the deadline, provided that a correct report is subject to after these reasons have requested.

At the same time, in case you haveubts about the content of the subject report, we emphasize that the CBAM report can also be corrected by the subject after submission. 🔄 Submitted CBAM reports for the 4th quarter of 2023 can be modified until July 31, 2024 📅
